FREQUENTLY ASKED

Before You Light It

How do I choose the right ritual?

Start with the moment you're living, not the scent. Each ritual is named for a specific transition — self-love, protection, prosperity, clarity — and the fragrance was built around it. If you're not sure which moment you're in, the quiz on our home page narrows it down in six questions.

What's the difference between the candle, the room spray and the wax melt?

Same fragrance, three ways to hold it. The candle is the anchor of the ritual, the one you light to mark the moment. The room spray refreshes the space in seconds, between burns or the moment you walk in. The wax melt is the flameless version, for smaller rooms, offices, or anywhere an open flame isn't an option.

What is a Ritual Bundle, and is it better value?

It's the complete system for one intention: the candle, the room spray and the wax melt of the same fragrance, together and for less than buying the three separately. It's also the format most people gift, because it arrives as a whole ritual rather than a single object.

What's the difference between the Echoes and the Archangels collections?

Echoes are named for the moment you're moving through — the transition itself. Archangels are named for the energy you're calling in while you move through it. Same hands, same real crystals, same standard. The wax is the one thing that actually changes: Echoes are poured in coconut, Archangels in soy. A different way in, not a different quality. Many people keep one of each.

Are the crystals real, and what happens to them when the candle finishes?

Always real, never glass or resin, and ethically sourced. They're infused directly into the wax while it sets, so they sit inside the candle rather than glued on top. When the wax is gone, the crystals are yours to keep — rinse them and carry them, or leave them somewhere you'll see them every day.

What is it made of, and is it safe to burn at home?

Natural wax — coconut, soy and beeswax, depending on the piece — a cotton wick, our own fragrance blend and genuine crystals. No paraffin, no phthalates. It burns clean, with no soot on your walls or ceiling. As with any candle: trim the wick before each burn, keep it away from drafts and anything flammable, and never leave it burning unattended or within reach of children and pets.

Why three different waxes?

Because they don't do the same job. Coconut wax carries a delicate fragrance without distorting it, so it goes into the Echoes candles. Soy is steadier and more forgiving of heat, which is what the Archangels and the wax melts need. Beeswax burns slower than either, so a little of it buys you time. One wax for everything is cheaper to buy and easier to explain — it just isn't better. Never paraffin, in any of them.

How long does one candle last?

Around 55 hours. Let the wax pool reach the edge of the vessel on the first burn — that's what keeps it from tunneling down the middle, and it's what gets you the full life out of it.

Will the scent actually fill the room?

Yes. It's built to fill a normal living room or bedroom without taking over the house — the kind of scent you notice when you walk in, not one that follows you everywhere. If you want the space to smell like the ritual immediately, the room spray does it in seconds.

Do I need to believe in anything for this to work?

No. A ritual isn't a belief system — it's a way of marking a decision you've already made. The candle doesn't do the work for you; it holds the moment you chose to begin. People of every faith, and of none, use them exactly the same way.

Why does this cost more than a candle from the supermarket?

Because almost none of the cost is wax. Natural waxes — coconut, soy and beeswax — instead of paraffin, genuine crystals instead of decoration, poured by hand in small batches in Cocoa, Florida, and a 55-hour burn instead of twenty. You're not paying for a scented object — you're paying for what stays after it's gone.

How long does shipping take, and when is it free?

Orders ship within 2–3 business days from Cocoa, Florida. Shipping is free on orders over $88.88; below that it's calculated at checkout before you pay.

What if it isn't right for me?

Every ritual carries a 60-day guarantee. If the scent isn't yours, or it simply doesn't feel right, write to us within 60 days and we'll make it right. You don't have to justify it.
